Alex Rodriguez was benched on Friday due to fatigue. Many of Alex friends and family had been expected to attend the game, including Alex's mother Lourdes, and his four-year-old daughter, Natasha. Alex however informed them not to attend after he was unable to play on Friday night. It would have been Alex's first game played where he grew up. He is expected to be benched again today (Saturday)
